Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED)

The mission of AAED is to serve as Arizona’s unified voice advocating for responsible economic development through an effective program of professional education, public policy, and collaboration.


Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA)

The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is the leading economic development organization with a streamlined mission to grow and strengthen Arizona’s economy. The ACA uses a three-pronged approach to advance the overall economy: recruit, grow, create – recruit out-of-state companies to expand their operations in Arizona; work with existing companies to grow their business in Arizona and beyond; and partner with entrepreneurs and companies large and small to create new jobs and businesses in targeted industries.


Arizona Public Service (APS)

APS believes some of a community’s greatest assets are the businesses that call it home. Our economic development programs help Arizona communities retain successful hometown companies and encourage them to create more jobs.


Arizona State University Buckeye Entrepreneurial Outreach Network (EON)

The purpose of the Entrepreneurship Outreach Network is to create a collaborative network of libraries, museums and community partners that advance and promote local innovation and entrepreneurship through knowledge sharing. To learn more about EON, click here.


Arizona Technology Council

The Arizona Technology Council is the driving force behind making our state the fastest growing technology hub in the nation; connecting and empowering Arizona’s technology community. As Arizona’s premier trade association for science and technology companies, the Council is recognized as having a diverse professional business community.


Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce

The purpose of the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce is to provide leadership, support local businesses and build strong partnerships dedicated to promote business, education and community interests of Buckeye. The Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of the business and professional community.


Buckeye Main Street Coalition

The Buckeye Main Street Coalition began in 1986. Main Street is an important part of a larger effort to enhance and preserve downtown Buckeye.


Canada Arizona Business Council (CABC)

The Canada Arizona Business Council was formed to promote and increase bilateral Foreign Direct Investment, Trade, and Tourism between Canada and Arizona. The CABC brings together senior players in every industry on both sides of the border. Simply stated, the CABC facilitates business marriages at the decision maker level.


Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC)

The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) is one of the region’s premier economic development groups. GPEC has been working on behalf of businesses looking to relocate and expand – at absolutely no cost to the company – for more than 25 years. We are a public-private partnership representing Maricopa County, 22 communities throughout the region and more than 170 private investors.


Greater Maricopa Foreign Trade Zone (GMFTZ)

The Mission of the GMFTZ is to develop, grow, and promote Western Maricopa County and the Greater Maricopa Foreign Trade Zone to enhance economic development in the West Valley. GMFTZ will, through collaboration and leadership, provide the West Valley’s cities, towns, developers and businesses with the tools and support to create partnerships that will foster, maintain, and grow the premier foreign trade zone in the United States.


International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC)

Founded in 1957, ICSC is the premier global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its more than 70,000 members in over 100 countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, retailers and brokers, as well as academics and public officials.


International Economic Development Council (IEDC)

The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is the premier membership organization dedicated to helping economic development professionals create high-quality jobs, develop vibrant communities and improve the quality of life in their regions. Serving more than 4,600 members, IEDC represents the largest network of economic development professionals in the world.


Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG)

The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is a Council of Governments (COG) that serves as the regional agency for the metropolitan Phoenix area. MAG is the regional air quality planning agency and Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for transportation for all jurisdictions in Maricopa County, including the Phoenix urbanized area and the contiguous urbanized area in Pinal County, including the Town of Florence and City of Maricopa.


Arizona @ Work

The Workforce Development Division (WDD) is known in the community as Maricopa Workforce Connections (MWC). It offers high-value, no-charge specialized services for area businesses and provides career seekers with complimentary employment resources to assist in obtaining or retaining employment.


Maricopa Small Business Development Center

The Maricopa SBDC delivers services to anyone who owns or operates a business or is planning to start a business. We work with businesses in every industry and at every stage of growth from start-ups to well-established companies. We’re Arizona’s largest and most accessible statewide source of assistance for small businesses.


Urban Land Institute (ULI)

The mission of the Urban Land Institute is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.



WESTMARC—the Western Maricopa Coalition—is a public-private partnership of the 15 communities, the business community and the educational sector in the West Valley of Greater Phoenix. WESTMARC’s three key priorities are to: 1. Promote the West Valley; 2. Enhance Economic Development; 3. Increase Member Value
