The City of Buckeye can offer qualified companies a customized incentives package designed to complement those offered by the state, including:

Tax Rates

The City of Buckeye does not have a Use Tax.

The City of Buckeye has the lowest municipal Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) or sales tax rate in Maricopa County for single ticket purchase items $2,000 and above. The TPT for eligible items is 1.1%.

*Qualification for incentives will be determined on a case by case basis and are based on the company’s economic impact to the City (i.e. jobs, wages, capital investment, etc.) as well as meeting other legal requirements as applicable. It is important to note that incentive negotiations are not final until a development agreement between the City and the Client is approved by Mayor and Council.
