City Council Special Meeting to discuss face masks
The Buckeye City Council is holding a Special Meeting on June 23, at 4 p.m. to discuss a possible resolution regarding wearing facemasks in public to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Yesterday, Governor Doug Ducey announced new public health guidance and a new Executive Order 2020-40 to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency. The Executive Order specifies that counties, cities and towns may adopt policies regarding the wearing of face coverings in public for mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
Since public access is still restricted at city facilities due to COVID-19, the audio of the Special Council Meeting will be streamed live on YouTube.
