There is also a half marathon, 10K, 5K, family fun obstacle course and Kid’s Zone for the shorter distance athletes where you can test your skills, coordination and stamina on balance beams, a zig-zag rope course, wall climbs and more.
The full marathon begins north of the airport in the Festival Ranch neighborhood. The half marathon, 10K, and 5K and will all start and end at the Buckeye Municipal Airport.
Buckeye’s goal for the marathon is creating healthy lifestyles for our residents. Proceeds from the marathon benefit the Buckeye Youth Council Scholarship Fund, providing opportunities for local children to participate in recreational activities throughout the city.
We also need volunteers to assist with check-in, staffing water stations, the Kid’s Zone, distributing medals and so much more. You can volunteers as an individual or as a group. Either way, we’ve got a job for you.
All volunteers receive a free lunch and t-shirt, plus get to experience the premier West Valley event first-hand.
