“I’m excited to be part of the city of Buckeye, the fastest growing city in the country,” Solano said. “The growth of our city brings unique challenges for water, and I’m looking forward to completing some of the initiatives started to build on our success and ensure Buckeye continues to grow smart.”

“Alisha’s extensive experience in precisely the areas we’re focusing on in Water Resources will be a great benefit to our residents,” said City Manager, Roger Klingler.

Solano has nearly 20 years of experience in the utility industry, including water rates, water policy, customer service, procurement and accounting/budgeting for both the city of Phoenix and Mesa.

She is a Certified Public Manager with a Bachelor’s Degree from ASU and a Masters from NAU. She begins her new assignment on Nov. 25.
