Have your picture taken with Pro-Skater Jud Heald, who will be signing autographs and performing some of his famous tricks on the newly installed equipment.   Skater Jud Heald doing skateboard stunt

The renovations at the Buckeye Skate Park began in late Nov. 2018 and included installing state-of-the-art riding surfaces, trick ramps and rails. The original equipment installed back in 2005 when the park opened, reached its useful lifespan.

As the only skate park in Buckeye, it’s very popular with the local skating community. The skaters who use the park regularly supported the project and are excited for this project be completed.

The project is part of the city’s 5-year Capital Improvement Program and final renovations costs were approximately $90,000.
